Aristolochia gigantea though a lovely fast growing plant is NOT a plant I want to have in my garden. I have found documentation to substantiate my dealings with using the plant. I kept seeing my Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly larva hatch, then die when feeding on the plant; I found out later was indeed toxic to them.
