Well it seems June was the wettest since 2009,..these records keep being beaten every year,..i wonder what will the coming winter produce.
Some years ago i picked up some Crocosmia growing wild,..after just one season it multiplied threefold,..after two seasons i found it spreading so much i had to dig it up and plant it in large containers,..it grew so much the containers were splitting so i dumped the lot.
Now here i am starting all over again with just four plants that popped up,..planted them in a moist area and will no doubt have the same problem all over again,..i should talk to my dog as it is a lot cuter.
My Delphiniums were just about finished flowering so i cut them back to the base,..weather permitting some will bloom again this season and when the new growth reaches about six inches new cuttings can be made for next season.
Geraniums producing lots of blooms,..inside the house.
No complaints about Hollyhocks,..all but two have bloomed and they will shortly,..Hollyhock rust did appear on some but not the New Zealand ones,..mmmmm interesting.
Lily and Fuchsia in bloom.
Lilium Rialto,..strongly scented.
There were some large black seeds in the bird food so i planted two,..looks like Calendula,..when it blooms i will know,..idle hands lol.
