Temperature today was 18C-48F.

Some of my roses that bloomed have now turned into solid rose hips,..i tend to leave a few on the rose bush and let them fall of their own accord,..when winter cold weather arrives the hips go through stratification,..if you search under and around the rose bushes you will occasionally come across a rose hip with a very small seedling protruding from it,..don't cast it away,..plant it in a pot with the little seedling just above the soil surface,..if all goes well you will have a new rose and not necessarily resembling any rose you already have.

Below are six stages of growth from a rose hip,..back in 2011.
