I was searching for some seeds and found Victory Seed Company and went and started looking at their seeds. The price was certainly right, they were heirloom seeds which I have been trying to grow now as I like the different varieties of seeds from the past. So, I bought some. The shipping was the most reasonable of all the seeds I have gotten so far, the packaging was great, and they arrived with no issues. I cannot wait to get them in the ground now and see what comes up and grows! I will be buying more seeds from them in the future. Good, reliable service!

I found Victory Seeds by searching for calabacita seeds and am very impressed with the availability of uncommon seeds. Also impressive is the packaging which includes informative information. You know the seeds are fresh since they arrive in small zip-loc type bags inside the envelope.

I love this company and mainly use it for my seeds. I especially like them because they sell the dwarf project seeds. I started buying other items there. They are quick & notify me when my seeds have arrived. Pictured two of my dwarfs in straw bales.

I'm new to gardening and placed my order w/ Victory Seeds. I really liked their selection of seeds and extremely reasonable pricing. I left a comment on my order saying I was new and in my order I received a hand written note with the recommendation to learn as much as you can and to check out webgrower.com - it really meant a lot that they're taking the time to do small things like this. I'll definitely be back for more seeds as I learn more!

This is my second year ordering from Victory Seed Company. I am interested in gardening with genetic diversity and developing locally adapted crops to feed me and my family. Because of my interest in diversity and landrace development, I really appreciate the large selection of varieties available at VS. Take cowpeas for example, tons of choices. Great descriptions too.

I feel like I'm supporting something great by giving Victory Seed my business.

I am a new gardener and placed my first order with Victory Seeds last week. People are very friendly and took time to communicate about the information I was asking for. Since I live in Oregon the shipment arrived in just one business day. The seeds were packaged neatly with a warm note. Each packet has detailed information. Will definitely order from Victory Seeds in the future.

I was looking online to order Boston Marrow Seeds; I didn't save any from my few harvested fruits last year (boo to me)

I ordered Boston Marrow seeds from Victory Seed Company because, well their logo looks like the Victory Motorcycle logo and that caught my eye :D But also glad that they had the Boston Marrow seeds which are an heirloom variety. I placed my order and was astounded when I received it 3 days later!

Seeds were planted on a heat pad and under lights; germination in 3 days!

The deeper endeavor of gardening must be so much more than picking up anonymous packets of seeds from the chain company grocery or hardware store. No offense to these generic companies, but the work of growers today must be linked to an understanding of place, human--plant exchange, and history; the folks at Victory Seeds seem to understand this. I appreciate the notes and research that they are aiming to make available about each individual plant variety. For logistics of getting seeds by mail, I agree with so many previous comments: I appreciate the clear communication, affordable prices, and surprising promptness during an extra strained time. Just received seeds. Great variety of hard to find tomato seeds. Personal service on order. I asked if they could delay my order until a specific out of stock tomato seed i wanted became available - they went and found the seed just being processed and added to my order at no charge. Hopeful i will be as lucky as other reviewers and achieve good germination rates.

Just found this company a little over a week ago and I'm already impressed. First they were under the threat of evacuation due to wildfires and my order was shipped 2 days after i placed it. Second - they had seeds!!!! Most of the other big companies i usually order from are out of about everything. Victory had everything i was looking for and then some. I found them by searching for cowpeas. Not only did they have them but they had more varieties than i had seen in any other seed company. I am excited for next spring now after being worried i wouldn't find seeds for spring. Totally inpressed by my first encounter.

This was my first time ordering seeds through Victory Seed Company and with all that's been going on with the postal service, my package of seeds was lost in the mail. Although this was in no way the fault of Victory Seed Company, I reached out to them to find out if this was a common problem. They promptly responded and went above and beyond to help me with my problem and when it wasn't resolved, they sent me a replacement package of all the seeds I had ordered.

Their customer service is amazing and I will definitely be using their company again soon and would highly recommend them to others. Most places these days don't seem to care about the people who are spending money with them but I was treated top notch by Victory Seed. Great people!

Placed my first order with Victory Seeds during the Covid-19 pandemic. They were one of the only companies still taking orders, and I appreciated the straightforward way in which they communicated with potential customers (warning of shortages, long shipping times, etc.). Order was well-packed and spot on when it arrived. I'm thrilled to have gotten several hard-to-find varieties I've been coveting, and so far germination has been rapid & excellent. I will ABSOLUTELY be ordering from this company again!

We've been gardeners for about 8 years. Mostly seeds and plants from the big seed companies. Garden hasn't really been what we were hoping for. This year we purchased Victory seeds. What a difference in the garden. I planted 2 weeks later than usual, but everything just sprang up over night. Our sweet corn was 5 feet tall by the 4th of July. Our garden will be a "Victory" garden from now on.

Love this company. Been buying seeds here for over six years. Mike is responsive to questions and provides great customer service. I love the fact that they double pack the seeds. There is the normal paper envelope and then the little plastic zip lock bag. Who hasn't accidentaly spilled seeds from those paper envelopes! I save the little plastic bags and use them to save some of my own seed. Again, great company!

Victory Seeds has a great selection of seeds that are not available at the mega size seed companies. They also have the best selection of tomatoes I have seen available, including new to me, dwarf bush tomatoes that produce average size tomatoes! Take a look at their selections.

Victory Seed Company. Boy, howdy! How to write the absolutely, totally, most perfect review? I've been the fortunate recipient of not 1 but 2 gift certificates for their seeds. My first order was placed on a Sunday night (8/6/2017 if you must know) and I requested that it be sent by USPS 1st class mail. Well was I ever surprised when it was in my mailbox the following Wednesday, 8/9.

I'd love to tell you how well the seeds germinated and grew, but I've only had them for 2 days. However, I have total confidence that these seeds are going to perform wonderfully and beat any taste test around. I finally had to quit looking at their online catalog because it was making me too hungry!

Someone else has already written a review detailing the company and its standards. Agree, agree, agree. Victory Seed Company should be everyone's 'go to' for buying seeds. Their mission statement says it all:
"Preserving the future, one seed at a time."

A side note is that I exchanged a few emails with Mike Dunton regarding 'how to' and then moving on to this, that, and the other. Not something I would expect from most businesses. Very personable and friendly. Now really. How could anyone ask for more?

I recently bought seeds from Victory for my summer vegetable garden. Nearly each and every last seed that I have planted has germinated and produced a strong, healthy seedling. I've had to thin and transplant into other makeshift pots, as I did not expect such a wonderful germination rate.

The company itself is wonderful to deal with; I specifically purchased from them based on their website and company statements. Victory honestly seems like a great business, and I am happy to support such an ethical and conservation minded company.

I've ordered from Victory for several years now and have never been disappointed. I admire the company's ethos and the service can't be beat. This year, I ordered seeds on a Tuesday; they were here on Friday. I have dealings with numerous seed outfits. I'd put Victory at the top. Highly recommended.

I ordered some seeds from Victory Seed Company after having seen them acting as generous donors for the raffles (NARRs) here on NGA. It makes me feel good to support a small farm, but it's more than just that; Victory Seed Company supports open-pollinated, non-GMO seeds, which is important to me. I also love the selection they have. I was able to find some neat seeds that I couldn't find anywhere else, such as Kookaburra Tomato seeds. The seed packets are paper and have the instructions right on the package, just like any other seed company, and the instructions are very clear. Last but not least, I feel the prices are pretty fair, rivaling what you would pay at high-output places, so you don't have to worry about paying more to appease your ethical standards for seeds. You can "have your cake and eat it too" with Victory Seed Company.

I was blessed last year to win seeds from this company in a NARR. I like that they concentrate on OP heirloom varieties. The seeds came well packaged with planting instructions and other info about the seed plants on the label. Victory Seed has been a great supporter of ATP/NGA. We're lucky to have them around!

I visited the website a few days ago and created a user profile. I had placed a few seed selections in a reserved area for future order. I was contacted through a personal email asking about my experience on the site, and asking whether I'd had any issues while making my selections or placing an order. So a few days later I placed my first order. My selections were packaged safely and accurately. I highly recommend Victory Seed and will use them again and again.

Wow! How refreshing to receive a personalized email from the Victory Seed Company's own Mike Dunton, who encouraged me to explore the National Gardening Association and provided a referral so I could hang out with you all! My seeds were shipped on time, and I am impressed with the thorough directions on each package. While I am a "southern" gardener, I'll be planting some seeds in a fall/winter garden situation that is not mentioned on the packaging; however, this is expected from a Pacific-based company. The family mission of Victory Seed Co. is refreshing, and I look forward to developing a long-term relationship.

I purchased Blue Lake, Wright Strain pole beans to plant in my fall garden in central Texas. I placed them between several layers of wet paper towels overnight and then planted in my Square Foot Garden. The package indicated 8-16 days germination. By day 3, I had two squares (nine plants each) that had 100% germination, and by day 5 the other two squares also show 100% germination. When I originally placed the seed between the moist paper towels, I had placed 16 extra seeds with the 36 I planted, suspecting that I wouldn't get 100% germination. I checked those 16 seeds on day 3, and they had all sprouted, so I took those to a different part of my garden and planted them too. Two days later, all 16 of those seeds have now broken through the soil. This is the best germination rate I have ever gotten. Victory Seed Company will be my choice from now on.

As a noob to gardening, I ordered several seeds from VSC. They were very helpful that spring in chatting with me about germination and even went so far as to send me out extra seeds (while I protested that they needed do so! LOL!).

Love this company, and love all the history it gives about seeds and seed companies. I actually found this company by researching the history of tomatoes and Daylilies. I'm kind of new to gardening, although I came from a lineage of gardeners. This company really inspired me to keep a legacy alive, in honor of my grandmother, who actually passed away gardening in her own flower garden. Thanks, Victory Seed.

I have ordered from Victory Seed Company numerous times, and never had a problem. This time, however, the friendly folks at the Post Office saw fit to lose my order, one which was time-sensitive for planting. I emailed the folks at Victory Seed and they promptly tracked the shipment and sent me the tracking number. For some reason, our friends at the Post Office seemed less than enthusiastic when I contacted them. In the meantime, Victory Seeds had duplicated my order and shipped it, with instructions to me to refuse the first order if it should ever show up ( which it hasn't yet). Long story short, I got the seed in time to plant it due to the proactive folks at Victory Seed. I will continue to do business with these folks, and will probably order from them exclusively from now on. Great doing business with them!

I am a chef and have enjoyed the variety of vegetables I have discovered through Victory Seed Company. I love reading about the history of the seeds as it makes a great conversation piece when I am cooking with veggies from my garden.

My orders have always been completed quickly and accurately. I have had a great success rate with my seedlings as well.

Victory Seed Company is one of my "go-to" seed companies. I love their variety and descriptions, and the prices are great as well. I have much success with germination rates on all the seeds I've purchased from them, even if the seeds are a couple of years old. I recommend Victory Seeds often to my gardening friends. Support a family-run business. Dunton Family Farm has operated since 1909. I think they started Victory Seed co in '98. The variety and quality of their seed are hard to beat. And, they have unique packaging -- their seed comes in the regular paper seed packet, but what's different is the inner resealable bag. Love this feature; makes re-storing unused seed a breeze.

I had won a gift cert from Victory during one of ATP's fantastic Not-A-Raffle Raffles late last year and put it to use early this year by purchasing some peas, radish, carrot, and wildflower seeds. The website was easy to navigate, checkout went smoothly, and my product arrived in a very timely manner. Packaging and included info were top-rate. Victory has gained a lifelong customer in me!

Victory Seed Company reps are always there to help. I get fast and informative email replies. The seeds are high quality, of course, but if it weren't for their responsiveness to my inquiries, my gardens wouldn't be nearly as successful as they've been.

Great source of seeds adapted to the Pacific Northwest climate. I am very happy with the results of all seeds I planted from Victory. Staff is great and quick to respond to any inquiries. I met them in person at the Mother Earth News Fair in Albany and they were very welcoming and appreciative. My number-1 source of seeds.

I just received my first order from Victory Seed Co. I am very impressed with the attention they gave my one small order, even personally answering my comment that wasn't even a question. They also shared unasked for (but very appreciated) information on caring for seed, which I have not seen with other major seed companies. I have been gardening for 30 years and have been having increasing problems obtaining a certain type of seed, which I have now found at Victory Seed. This year I am going to be ordering all my gardening needs with Victory, and I have a feeling it will be a good year! I even signed up for their newsletter, which, if you knew me, is amazing. I never give out my email address!

Victory Seed has been a very valuable seed company. They have a very informative web site that I frequent often. They have always, promptly answered all of my questions. I also find great value in their seed preservation effort, and wonderful selection of rare, open pollinated, and heirloom seeds.
