This seed company is one of 4 seed companies I purchase seed from and have had very good luck for many years

I wish they had a wider selection- especially of native plants- but their seeds have a very high germination rate. Truly a superior product.

They also have nice sales from time to time, and their web site is well-designed, and worth visiting, even if you think you don't need any seeds...

I've had nothing but good experiences with Botanical Interests. They have an amazing selection of heirloom varieties and I especially love their flower seeds. There's always something new and different too! Generous amounts of seeds are very reasonably priced. They often offer a small package and a large package for just a dollar or two more, which is nice if you want to share your seeds. One of my favorite things about the website is that it's set up for easy viewing by category of the kind of plants you are looking for. Two thumbs up!

I have placed several orders with Botanical Interests over the past two years now. I have had great success with germinating their seeds. They always ship promptly, and things arrive in a timely manner. The artwork on the seed packets is absolutely beautiful. I love the strange varieties of seeds that they have, they even have a Weird and Wonderful collection, for people like me that enjoy botanical curiosities. The information printed on the packages will spoil you. I wish more companies gave as much information as they do. With every order I have placed I have also received a Thank You mix of lettuce.

If you have any gardeners that you need to get gifts for, I would definitely recommend checking out their collections. You can find something for practically everyone.

They also sell large packs of mixed seed at a reasonable price if you need to cover a large area.

This is one of THE best seed companies around, bar none. I may be a tad biased because they are located here in Colorado, but I have had such great success with viability, etc. that I would recommend them highly even if I did not live in Colorado.

First, the seed packets are art work. I save them and scan them and then have them reprinted for framing. I love them that much! Next, I love the details they provide with regard to growing. Here is a clip from their About Us page:

Curtis and Judy started Botanical Interests because they believed that gardeners were not getting the information they needed from their seed packets. Their desire for more information along with their passion for spreading gardening wisdom led them to create a unique seed packet that is not only beautiful, but is also filled with facts, tips, recipes, and quality seed.

October 2012 -- Another good source for heirloom and organic, non-GMO seeds. Seed packets are loaded with more information than any I've ever seen. Good informative website too.

February 2, 2013 --
The packets are now smaller physically (to economize, I would imagine) but not the amount of seeds sent. The service is still lightning fast. I ordered on 1/28 and received my seeds on 2/1.

Very good selection of flowers and vegetables. Many unusual cultivars with precise identifications. The seed packets have so much information, they are printed on the outside AND inside! I've learned a lot from them.

The seed packets, website and paper catalog have some of the best artwork (photographed and drawn) that I've seen anywhere.

To email them, fill out the "Customer Service" form at http://botanicalinterests.com/...

The one time I did, I got a very friendly, detailed, clear response right away. It was so detailed that it was almost scholarly!

They say that their goal is "to inspire and educate" the gardener in us. And that they aim to offer high quality seed. I think they meet their goals.
