I have been ordering seeds from J. L. Hudson for years and have always been pleased. They have an interesting collection; it's worth getting the catalog just to peruse its pages. Follow the instructions and you just might get a complimentary pack of seeds included in your order.

I look forward to getting my J.L. Hudson catalog. It's the only catalog I read thoroughly every year, I always learn something new.
I've been ordering from them for over 20 years and have never had a problem. I love trying new plants. Even though I buy seeds nearly every year my old seeds from them have had very good viability.

This is one of the few seed vendors I order from every year (sometimes twice in a season) and whose catalog I look forward to and actually read. Prices are good, shipping costs are very low and customer service is prompt and courteous. Highly recommended.

A large (and idiosyncratic) list of flower and vegetable seeds at very reasonable prices. While you are liable to find some rare or exotic specimens here, some common categories are rather skimpy (only one marigold, listed under Tagetes, for example).
I have a general rule not to keep seeds longer than three years, but many of their packets come in such large quantities that I have to throw some away.
Nevertheless, I have been ordering from them for ten years, and I have had good results with most of my purchases. Their envelopes contain only minimal sowing information, but that can usually be found on their website or in their printed catalogs, neither of which has photos of the offerings.
Recently I forgot to include postage but they sent the order anyway. Out of the ordinary service! Needless to say, I reimbursed them in my next order.

This seed bank is my favorite place for seeds. They carry an extraordinary number of difficult-to-find/rare seeds at extremely reasonable prices, coupled with the lowest shipping costs I have seen. They also provide detailed descriptions and interesting information on all of their offerings. A unique treasure run by friendly, knowledgeable, and gracious folks. 10 stars!!
