Outstanding plants and great customer service. I placed an order for hostas and received huge healthy plants with multiple eyes and large root masses. A bonus plant of the same quality was included. Plants were well packed and arrived in great shape.

Not much to add to these glowing reports. Expect to say that, based on my orders, I highly recommend this nursery. Rod Lysne is the kind, helpful, and humorous owner. Great plants!

Excellent plants, communication and service. Highly recommended.

Northern Grown Perennials offers Hosta, Peonies and Daylilies from a general cultivar list, as well as their own daylily and hosta introductions.

I placed a daylily order on October 20 using email and PayPal, and the plants arrived on the morning of the 24th.

They shipped husky, mature, field-grown multiple-fan plants with robust root systems that are now re-establishing into instant clumps.

I was looking to add more doubles and minature daylilies to my garden and found this site. That year it was wet and it took a while to get my daylilies but boy were they healthy. Very big roots!

I also love their sense of humor in the catalog. The description of Jurassic Park Hosta was hysterical. So needless to say, even though I am not a hosta person, I had to include one of those as well.

My mom and I placed an order here because they had a rare daylily my mom had been looking for. The prices were very reasonable! Very nice selection, especially if you are fond of Emerick's daylilies. He shipped plants right away. I couldn't believe the size of the plants he sent. Some of them were clumps! My mom and I separated some of them and each plant was bigger than the single plants you get from some companies. We did have one single fan, but he told us beforehand that is all he had, and he lowered the price of the daylily. We still wanted it. When we got it, we couldn't believe the size of the fan. It was a large and healthy fan, not a tiny little fan. I will be ordering from him again in the spring when I find out what I still need for my front bed. He also carries hostas and peonies, but I didn't order any of those. The picture I have attached is a comparison between the plant he sent and the plant from another company I ordered from at the same time. His is the beautiful large clump and the other company's is the group of tiny separated fans.
