The Green Pages: Homestead Farms Nursery (E-Commerce Companies)

I wanted both Peonies and Daylilies, since they dig daylilies fresh I could order in the fall and get both. The peony roots are huge with 7 eyes each (Usually 3-5), but at about 1/2 the price of some other places. The daylilies are fresh and big and a lovely selection. It was nice to have shipping combined for both things.

Ordered peonies from Homestead Farms Nursery for the first time this year and was very happy with their roots. They were very low priced, so I was expecting them to be small. I was pleasantly surprised that they were just as nice as those from the big growers.

I have had excellent service from this nursery, first buying hard to find Munson daylilies, and then in later years turning my eye to their huge hostas. I had the good fortune to talk to the owner via email and he settled some of the questions I had about the plants. A very positive experience.

I have ordered from Homestead on two occasions and have been extremely pleased with the plants that I received. Extremely healthy fans, great root systems and they were packed well.

Definitely will order from them again!

I've ordered hostas and clematises from Homestead. Very happy with everything I've received. He even personally called one year to let me know the plants would be delayed due to the terrible flooding they were experiencing. Good old-fashioned customer service.

Homestead Farms provides excellent plants and service, as well as fast, accurate communication.
The plants arrived within the week they were ordered. They were well-packed, very clean and healthy in appearance, and all were triple fans or better.
The shipment also included a very nice bonus plant.

I found every part of this purchase to be a positive experience. The site is easy to navigate with nice photos. From on line order to delivery was less than a week! Everything arrived in wonderful condition. Very generous plants, the daylilies are all triple fans (if that's the right term), three fans of each variety! The prices are the best!!
