The Green Pages: Buchanan's Native Plants (E-Commerce Companies)

Buchanan's has a great selection. Great gift shop. They carry vegetables, fruit trees, landscape plants and natives. Orchids are in the bungalow.

If you make it this way, combine a visit to Buchanan's with a stop at Joshua's (mostly natives), Another Place in Time, and Zone 9 Tropicals (if tropicals are of interest to you). All 4 nurseries are within a mile of each other in the Heights.

This is one of my top 3 nurseries to go to. Great selection of Texas native plants and so helpful with information on everything in their nursery.

I went to Buchanan's (specializes in native plants and organic gardening and have been in business in Houston since 1986) for a specific plant; luckily, it was still in stock.

The place is so inviting with many plants and gardening items to look through, but unfortunately I was short on time so I must go back when I have more time to browse...
