Election posters are supposed to be removed the day after elections here, so I help. The metal frames for the posters are excellent for holding row covers.

The metal frames for the posters are excellent for holding row covers as well as making little plant fences to tidy wayward or floppy plants. For row covers, just place them 2-3' apart, loop some string or wire along the corners and stake like a tent at the ends. Place the cloth over them and weight the cloth at ground level using something like narrow boards on either side, continuing the cloth to the end stake and tying in a bunch. It's quick, easy, and inexpensive. These poster frames are very sturdy and are easily cut and bent to make supports and small trellises. The tool I most often use is a large size lineman's pliers.
