Some vigorous vines, like hops, require an extra tall trellis. Even if you found a 10 foot trellis, I'm not sure how you would get it home. One of the easiest solutions is to secure two six foot trellises together.

Hops will easily grow over 20 feet in one season. Many garden visitors have inquired where I bought such a tall trellis for my hops vine.  (It's actually two trellises secured together)

One of the issues for this vertical display was to find a trellis that was at least 10 feet tall.  Once it grows beyond the height of the trellis, the vine tends to hang down and re-attach to the trellis and grow up again.  This gives a very full display.

I secured two six foot trellises together and "zip-tied" them.  There is about a 2 foot over-lap between the two trellises.  Securing the two together added 4-5 feet.  I also secured the trellises to the house using zip-ties and screws into wood under the overhang of the house. This has been in place year-round for the last 6 years.

The height of the two joined trellises is 10.5 feet.
