Here is a simple way to keep your seed starting organized and on schedule.

First, select a day of the week (let’s say Sunday) when you will start seeds each week. Using a plain mailing envelope, write the month (let’s say March) and the number of the first Sunday in March (let’s say 3) on the outside. Continue for as many weeks as you will be starting seeds. Your second envelope would say March 10, your third March 17, and so on. Distribute your seed packets among the envelopes in accordance with the day the seeds should be planted. Every Sunday you can simply pick the envelope for that day and plant the seeds inside.
