Ever wonder why some ponds have frogs and others don't? Help the frogs out with pond plants.

Add pond plants like this water hyacinth to give the frogs extra places to hide and hunt. Other floating plants, such as water lettuce and watercress, also work well and multiply rapidly.

Frogs hang out at pond edges, but they jump in at the first sign of danger. Plants in the pond give them cover and camouflage. So frogs are less likely to move on if your pond contains plants.
