Reuse Potting Mix

Are you doing a lot of container gardening? The potting mixes always say you should use fresh mix each year, but here is a way to save a little money.

Take the top one-third of last year's mix and put it into the bottom of this year's container. Now simply add fresh potting mix to the top of the container and add your plants.
