Bok Choi is a common ingredient in Asian Cooking. It can be stir fried or added to soups. But did you know that it is easy to grow your own from seed?

Bok Choi does not like heat, so it needs to be grown in early spring. Seeds of Bok Choi are tiny, much like the seeds of lettuce and other greens. But if you can grow lettuce, you can grow Bok Choi.

Lightly sprinkle seeds and cover with only a quarter-inch of soil. Sow in early spring and seedlings will germinate as weather permits. Harvest before bolting for best flavor and tenderness.
