Daylilies can be mixed for multi-season appeal and they play great with other plants. Come view some selected photos of my daylily garden beds.

Two rows of daylilies in front, daylilies at ends of Belgium block terracing. Spring bulbs planted in back and in between.

A spring picture of the backyard in 2011. Daylily areas are mixed in with tall bearded iris bed, spring bulbs such as tulips and Dutch iris and also bulb lilies. A small bare patch will soon be planted in annuals. There is a grassy path but the rest is mulched in straw.

Daylilies on the left side of the path, iris on the right side.

A mixed spring border. Shrubs form an anchor in the background while lupines bloom on the left as daylilies are planted in the slope next to my driveway.

That same driveway slope later in the year when the daylilies are in bloom.

Corner of my driveway at the street end looking up. Roses in terraced block planters with daylilies planted both to the right of the roses and also along the driveway on the left.

Black Eyed Stella blooms in a mixed setting along with catmint, lilies and roses.

Terraced gardens with daylilies starting to bloom.

Fenceline along my driveway in early July. Silk Road lilies bloom in back of Tic Tac Toe daylilies.
