Drab dried-up old coconut with husk and a small orchid.
Cut around the top with a hacksaw just to the hard shell. Then score the top with knife.
Using a knife, pop off the scored wedges.
Rough edges trimmed up and ready for a hammer to pop the coconut shell.
A few whacks with a hammer ... and drill a few holes in the bottom for drainage.
This little beauty is ready for its new home.
The coconut fiber retains moisture
for easy maintenance.
Added a hanger hook and look how cute it is...
