Hate to roll the heavy wheelbarrow out when you need a large container for clean-up work?

Make sure you save those large containers trees come in when you buy them from a nursery! I was fortunate enough to be given three of them -- two large ones and one smaller one. I really appreciate how useful and handy they can be when I'm cleaning up around the garden. I hate to have to roll the big heavy wheelbarrow out, unless I am hauling something heavy like bricks, dirt, or finished damp compost. I often need a large light-weight container when I'm doing spring clean-up around the roses, doing minor pruning, and pulling off black spot leaves. I have discovered that those very light-weight but large-volume tree tubs are excellent for those jobs. They are particularly handy during weeding chores, and this year they were the perfect light-weight container to take into the garden for the spring cleanup of the daylilies. They have little built-in handles that make them even more convenient. Even it is a large job needing a wheelbarrow, I still have found the tubs very useful for those muddy areas or rocky spots, or even in the beds where the wheelbarrow can't go. Fill up the tub and dump the contents into the wheelbarrow. It works very well.

I just included the milk jug for size reference.

Plus, they often can be used as an improvised table, they keep you from having to bend so far down, and they're handy for taking pictures of plants or other things.
