I know many plant shippers use boxes to shop their plants around the world. Here is a way to reuse a shipping carton that has print on the outside, or maybe has one too many labels on it.

Of course, boxes have their uses for everyone. I keep small boxes on hand to use when sharing a plant to help keep the plant stable and upright in transportation. I keep a small box in my car for transporting plants or pond fish in bags back home. The other day I safely transported 8 ounces of salsa from my favorite Mexican food restaurant to home in that same box. Boxes have many uses, so lets reuse as many as we can and save the Earth.

Here is a box from a warehouse store. Cut around the existing seams or pull apart gently. Reverse the fold and turn the box inside out. Seal with tape. The inside becomes the outside and is fresh and new, and ready for a shipping label.
