The highly popular gardening author, radio personality, and blogger at AWayToGarden.com interviewed Dave recently about hugelkultur, the raised bed technique that involves using whole logs of wood in your beds.

Thumb of 2013-04-22/dave/874b52Margaret is a long-time friend of All Things Plants and has been a previous guest of our podcast here. It was a pleasure to recently be invited to appear as a guest on her show to talk about hugelkultur, a subject near and dear to my heart.

She has published the interview in audio form, which you can listen to from her website, and accompanied with that, she has summarized the conversation in a wonderful article complete with pictures and information on this innovative gardening technique. Read the article and listen to the interview at: hugelkultur, nature’s raised garden beds, on AWayToGarden.com.
