The July 2014 Not-A-Raffle-Raffle!

Posted by @dave on
Time for another raffle! Four nice prizes, plus extra acorns for runner up prizes. Come on in and take a look.

Here we go again with another Not-a-Raffle Raffle. Why is this not a regular raffle? Well, in a regular raffle, you pay for the tickets with money. But in ATP raffles you buy your tickets with acorns. Tickets cost 5 acorns each. Don't know what acorns are? Click here to learn about acorns, and how to get them.

Good luck to all participants, and now let's talk about the prizes:

Perennial Obsessions is providing a $25.00 gift certificate plus free shipping. Perennial Obsessions is a small nursery specializing in hardy succulents, with an emphasis on named sempervivums and sedums.

High Country Gardens is providing a $50 gift certificate. At High Country Gardens we offer an incredible selection of xeric (drought resistant) and native plants, chosen for their hardiness, beauty and their support of habitat creation. We offer plants, products and information that support long-term ecological balance. Our mission is to improve the earth one garden at a time.

Garden Harvest Supply is providing Bushes and Shrubs are a lasting foundation for your landscape design-choose from flowering, non-flowering, deciduous and evergreen. Garden Harvest Supply provides all the details you need to make an informed decision on where and what to plant…and now they're giving away 2 Bushes or Shrubs for your growing pleasure!

Caladium Bulbs 4 Less is providing a $50 gift certificate.

Lastly, @Jon and I are teaming up! Each of us will give 50 acorns each to the 3 remaining winners, which means the final 3 winners will each get a total of 100 acorns.

As always, the ticket buying window is open now and will close on Monday at 7:00pm Central time. The drawing will be done and posted on Tuesday. The first place winner gets first pick of all the prizes, and then the second winner picks, and so forth until all prizes are claimed. Important note for winners: If you are contacted as a winner and asked to choose a prize you have 3 days to respond with your choice. If you do not respond within 3 days, the next placed winner will be contacted and allowed to pick.

This raffle is now closed!
