"Scarlet Rose Mallow" is painted in acrylics on stretched canvas and can be hung on the wall or displayed on an easel. Stretched canvas is very lightweight. The painting is about 16"x20"; the acrylics are permanent and can be easily cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. It's textural which means you can see and feel the thick brush strokes and the many layers of paint; it should never be covered in glass. Acrylic paints don't fade so it really needs no protection covering it. You can display it as it is or you can add a simple wooden strip frame to its edges.
