We all know that if you have a photo of a specific kind of plant, you can add that photo to that plant's entry in our database, and then everyone can see it, comment on it, give you thumbs and acorns, and all that. But what if you have a photo that shows a bunch of different plants? That's where our Multi-Plant Photos feature comes in!
That's an area where you can post your landscape shots and then once it's uploaded, you draw squares around each kind of plant, and it then asks you what kind of plant it is. This way you can go through and tag each and every plant in the photo. That photo will then appear in the database for each of those plants, and when people view your image they can get information on each plant shown. It's a really neat and useful feature.
You automatically get an acorn for each photo you post to the Multi-Plant Photos area, and during this activity, the next 10 members who post a photo to the feature and tag the plants inside the picture will each get 25 acorns courtesy of Paul2032.
So, visit the Multi-Plant Photos, dig through your photo collection, post your favorites, and as always, make sure you're having fun at it. Check out the other images that have been posted, and freely give thumbs to your favorites, and post comments about the ones that are noteworthy to you.
