A Quick Tip on Watering New Shrubs and Trees

To water newly planted trees and shrubs, take a 5-gallon bucket and drill a 1/8" hole near the bottom. Fill the bucket with water (preferably rainwater) and it will slowly water the soil around the tree, soaking in deeply, which is just what the plant wants.
