Freezer tape is useful for wintersowing because it will hold up to the elements outdoors.

It's great for keeping your wintersown containers closed. It sticks so well that it usually won't peel off, and I have to cut the tape to open my containers.

I also like to use it for labeling. Just write the name of your seeds in pencil on a piece of freezer tape. It will stay in place even outdoors in rain, sleet and snow. No more losing labels.
