I recently discovered that you can get a temporary colorant to add to liquids that are being applied with a sprayer.

I spotted this bottle at our local hardware store and decided to give it a try.

It turns your spray a nice, visible, blue color so you can see if you've missed a spot, or inadvertently sprayed something you really didn't want to spray. It's temporary and fades within a couple of days. It can be added to just about anything you want to put in a sprayer. The color won't stain walkways or other hard surfaces and washes off easily. (However, you aren't supposed to use it on food products.) We had a fairly large area full of weeds that we wanted to spray, and it was hard to keep track of what had been treated and what hadn't. This colorant has made the task a whole lot easier!
