Improved Forsythe Pot Idea

A Forsythe Pot is a pot filled with potting medium, used for the propagation of cuttings. The Forsythe Pot needs to have water added and be checked for mosquito growth. I wanted something that could be ignored a little longer between waterings, eliminate the mosquito problem and, in my opinion, look just a bit nicer. (324 words - Read the full article)

Some new recommendations from our members:
Lynn0805 recommended Green Thumbs Galore, LLC and wrote:

I placed an order for Helleborus (Lenten Rose), Heucherella, and Heuchera in mid-summer for fall shipping. I received several email confirmations updating me on the shipping schedule. Was very impressed with their communication emails, as well as with how well the plants were packaged. All the plants were very nicely sized, very healthy looking, and well hydrated. The root ball was packed in shredded paper, wrapped in newspaper, and placed in a plastic bag. As a special touch, they tie a ribbon around the plant, attaching the information tag. Also included were detailed care and planting instructions. This company offers great prices as we shopped around and researched several companies who sold Helleborus and I am glad we settled on Green Thumbs Galore. They do sell a wide selections of other plants as well. I highly recommend this company!

virginiarose recommended Accents for Home and Garden (Pepper's Greenhouse) and wrote:

I found this company on the Web when I was looking for a particular plant. I was drawn in by the low prices of some things that I had been wanting and I put in an order. I received a confirmation email right away, and the next day I got a Click-N-Ship® shipping notification telling me that my plants would be shipped on the 3rd. They arrived today, which is the 5th. The pots were all 4x4, not 3x3 or 2x2. I really liked the packing method. Also, none of the dirt was spilled or missing from the pots. Nice plants. I recommend them to everyone and I will do more business with this company.
