Flooring for Greenhouse

Flooring for Greenhouse

We poured a concrete floor for our structure. After leveling the space by digging down a bit, we put up 8" forms. For the next step we put down recycled 3" closed-cell foam and covered it with poly. We left the center open for drainage and brick so we could access the power and water if repairs are needed. The pipe next to the shovel is the hydrant. The floor tilts to center 1"/3' to keep water from freezing the walls loose from the base. (202 words - Read the full article)

Some new recommendations from our members:
jerseyridgearts recommended Hornbaker Gardens and wrote:

Hornbaker Gardens is a destination nursery known for its display gardens as much as for plant selections. In addition to a vast, healthy, and extensive plant list on offer, Hornbaker has initiated many free workshops and an artisan's fair in autumn. Staff is very helpful and experienced with different plant types. Tools, accessories, and garden ornaments (gorgeous pots) are available as well. Plan on spending a morning here at least. The photo above is one I took of the Hornbaker ravine in May 2009
