By kylaluaz November 4, 2014 | White Pine Shavings, Garden Helper I started using white pine shavings when I badly needed some carbon (dry browns) for a new compost mixture and didn't know where to get straw or dried leaves. I bought a bale of white pine shavings instead because they were cheap, not too heavy for me to carry, and easy to work with. I now like having them on hand for several uses, and I keep finding more. I first started ordering fall bulbs from Longfield Gardens in 2013 and I'm very happy with them. This has become my favorite place for ordering fall bulbs. I usually don't get bulbs in spring, but if I decide that I want them, this will be the first place I'll consider. I just noticed tonight that they offer bare root perennials. I'll have to check next spring to see what they offer. Great company for orders. Great prices! Fast shipping rom NJ to me in KY. They even have articles, videos, and info to help the gardener. They have a great guarantee also. Love, love this company!
I just received my first order from Chamblee's Rose Nursery and couldn't be happier. My four miniature roses arrived in perfect condition and look very healthy. The well-packed plants were shipped in pots and even have a couple of flowers on them, giving me a preview of their future beauty. The customer service was excellent as well. I'll definitely be ordering roses from Chamblee's in the future.
Ordered: Burgundy Queen™ Lilac Bullseye Mountain Laurel These look great - 20% end of season discount.
