    A very vigorous red Romaine type. Doing exceptionally well this spring. Not as dark as Red Rosie but quite pretty in its own right.

    I find this romaine does well with a fall planting in my zone 8a.
    It has shaken off frosts and freezing temperatures.
    This lettuce does well when transplanted from seedlings.
    The leaves have a rich red color and a delicate texture.
