Mum hugel bed W of hydrangea and midway across, near top stepping logs.
chelle From May 1, 2014 to July 1, 2014 Plant Ended (Removed, Died, Discarded, etc)
First transplants perished in swale garden hugel bed. Leaves yellowed, and plants disappeared.

Second batch of several seedlings lived all summer long in a single 4" starter pot, so I'd imagine the first batch rotted in too-moist soil.
