Abracadabra made a huge splash the year it came out. The J&P catalog for that year featured it heavily and nurseries couldn't keep it in stock because everyone wanted one. Then it quickly disappeared from commerce. It's now available only in the own-root variety from one or two nurseries.

It's a most entertaining rose, starting out mauve and tan, progressing to pale yellow with cherry-red accents, and finally fading to a grayish-white with pale lavender accents.

I grow over a hundred roses -- mostly minis.
There is only one Hybrid Tea in my garden: ABRACADABRA (Warriner).

This rose has the most magical coloring of any rose I know.
Shades of yellow, peach, lavender, amber and mauve -- all in one bloom.

    And it's fragrant, too.

Plus it grows well on its own roots -- and roots fairly easily as well.
