Burning in the hot sun this summer. Most flowers have turned that ugly brownish color: not nice.

Update: 8/8/2015

I was so mistaken. Upon going out to see how brown it was I found it to be fine, not brown at all. From the window in here, about 40' away, it does look brown but standing next to it I found it to be as normal and pinkish as ever. Maybe, because hydrangea Limelight, is in view at the same time, the contrast is so huge that it looked darker to me.

Quick Fire is my favorite hydrangea (I also have Limelight, Little Lime, Tardiva, and Endless Summer). It always remains upright and shapely and has attractive reddish stems. It begins to bloom bright white in the summertime, earlier than any other panicle hydrangeas, then begins to turn light pink and eventually red. It has a fragrance while it is white but loses it as it turns color. It is very easy care and does not demand frequent watering once established.
