Bought a "Santa Claus" melon. White-fleshed and very soft for such a hard-rinded fruit. Sweet, very reminiscent of a honeydew (to which it's related). The skin is VERY thin and VERY tough. It's football-shaped (oblong) and kind of pointy at the ends. The seeds were easily removed with a spoon. Very juicy flesh. Where the seeds were attached, the flesh is orange-ish in color.
