I saw pictures posted of South Seas in someone's daylily garden and that was it for me. I thought South Seas was so lovely and I just had to buy it for my own garden. That was many years ago, and now South Seas blooms here with its pretty flowers each summer.

South Seas is an exceptional daylily in my opinion. Its bloom is a vibrant coral color in full sun and it is sunfast. Its color carries very well over a distance in a landscape. For me, it usually has four nicely spaced branches, it blooms a long time, and it increases well. This is a daylily I wouldn't want to be without!

Pinkish coral-tangerine, w/darker band. Flowers have an extra dimension of color depth.

Just love the vivid coral color of this daylily. The height of 30" and bloom size of 5.5" is right in line with my idea of the perfect height to bloom ratio.

Gave a start to my Mom so I could see it in bloom when I go to her house!

This daylily just glows like a neon sign! It's so beautiful. It is coral, orange, pink, peach and has an orchid midrib. It puts on a good show for me every year. This plant makes big gorgeous blooms in the ground or potted. If you are looking for an attention grabber, get this daylily!
