This classic, much-awarded, all-white large cupped daffodil, bred in England by John Lea 45 years ago, has an illustrious history in the world of daffodil breeding. Cansip has been utilized as a seed parent 19 times and as a pollen parent 17 times by breeders in America, England, and New Zealand. Last noted use was in 2007. From their efforts, 19 new named daffodils were created (the rest are numbered seedlings).
