Native to South Africa, Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender' is a fast growing ornamental with dark green leaves that have a purple reverse, and lavender flowers with dark purple markings. The plant does well in dappled shade and should be pinched back to attain a compact shape.

I have had this plant for several years. It dies back in the winter (zone 9a) and comes back strong in the spring. It blooms constantly in the summer and fall. Emerald green leaves and beautiful flowers.

Spur Flower (Plectranthus Mona Lavender) is day length sensitive. Longer days produce more plant growth during its bloom-free period. This is the best time to propagate this plant. Toss cuttings in any warm and consistently damp spot and roots will form in a matter of days.
