This clematis is a work horse. It's the first to start blooming and the last to stop every year - May through September here in my zone 4 garden. It's a bush type rather than climbing, and it stays short in my zone 4 garden, about 3-4 ft. The flowers are the most gorgeous color; more of a pale blue than lavender. I only gave it supplemental water twice the entire summer and mine is located in full sun the entire day. Super easy to grow and one of my favorites!
