Sempervivum calcareum Sir William Lawrence is one of my favorites.
It has been a slow reproducer, but very beautiful and distinctive.
This is one which I would not want to be without.

'Sir William Lawrence' does not do well with lots of moisture in the spring (in my zone 4 garden).
