Turkey Tangle Fogfruit is a Florida native perennial; a mat-forming wildflower that spreads along the ground with prostrate stems. This plant is tolerant of a variety of conditions; from dry and rocky fields, to the margins of moist wetlands and it adapts well to most gardens for use as a superb ground cover. The flower nectar attracts many insect pollinators and this plant is also a host plant for a few butterflies, with the leaves serving as food for their caterpillars.
