Hands down, this is my favorite of all tomatoes. It handles our East Texas climate perfectly and gives us excellent tasting, gigantic slicing tomatoes that are also excellent for salsa.

We sell these as seedlings at the local master gardener plant sale each spring and we never have enough. We have become famous around East Texas for the Kellogg's Breakfast fruits that we offer for sale at the local farmers' market.

A yellow tomato, but with more flavor than some "bland" yellows. It has a little bit of a bite, almost a citrusy element to it. One of my favorite tomatoes.

I've tried growing this variety a couple of times before but they didn't produce much at all. Nothing like the plants growing this year! Two plants are pumping out so many huge fruits that we are sharing them with friends. Seeds from Trish and Dave in the "Beta Seed Swap." It sure makes a difference getting good quality seed! Juicy tomatoes are full of flavor.

This is hubby's new all around favorite tomato.

4/15/2022 update; after all these years, this is still the one tomato that my husband requests for me to grow.

This is my first year to grow and eat this tomato.
Brought the first one in today and sliced it still warmed from the sun. It has the perfect balance of sweet and tomato tang. Definitely my new favorite tomato and I hope to grow it again next year.
The seed had great germination using winter sow method. Thank you, Dave and Trish, for making it possible for me to try this variety. I will be purchasing it for next year from your online store.

In SC this tomato is delicious, but it produced only two fruits. Some of my other tomato varieties produced bushels, so it was not my technique. Perhaps this plant is just susceptible to some sort of disease in my soil. There were flowers, but they turned black and did not set fruit. Maybe I'll try again next year. It could be that I have an inferior seed line.

This is the first year that I have grown Kellogg's Breakfast tomato and I am well pleased. The plant is large, healthy, and vigorous and is covered with developing beef-steak type fruit, which are large. It has a mild pleasant flavor and the center is meaty and quite solid. Well worth growing.
