Belinda's Dream is a medium-sized shrub, with medium-pink blooms, and a moderate scent. The description might lead one to believe it's a rose of average quality and beauty, but nothing could be further from the truth. The blooms of this rose are exquisite! They are large, with a myriad of petals (up to 100), and they are highly heat resistant, retaining their beautiful shape on the hottest days. The rose is also distinguished by above-average resistance to pests and disease.

In addition, it's a tenacious rose. Several years ago, I noticed a new rose growing in my garden. As it grew larger and stronger and started producing extra-full blooms, I remembered that I had planted a Belinda's Dream in that spot two years earlier and had lost it to the gophers right away. There was nothing left of the rose when they were through chewing on it, so I made no attempt to rescue it. The gophers must have chewed it down to a nub, but it eventually managed to recover, with no help from me.

One of our best roses. Beautiful, perfectly shaped flowers are the norm--love this one!!!

This rose grows as a dense, symmetrical shrub in my garden, resists black spot and repeats generously. It is one of my favorites.

Incredibly easy to care for in my garden. It's in a very tough corner, bad soil, it's competing with a lavender, and under full sun, yet it's still doing very well.

Incredibly easy to take care in my garden. It was planted in a tough spot, bad soil, tough corner, full sun, and it thrives.

    Noted by Antique Rose Emporium:
"A cross between Tiffany and Jersey Beauty, this fast growing shrub is upright and sturdy, has few disease problems, and is covered with a plentitude of bluish-green foliage. The flowers are freely produced throughout the growing season and are simply lovely with a rich, distinctive fragrance of their own."
