These are on sale for $10 at ARE:
- Peggy Martin
- Stephen F. Austin
- Marie Pavie
- Cadenza
- Sweet Pea
- Carefree Beauty
- Climbing Pinkie
- Red Cascade
- Caldwell Pink
- Lafter

I'm trying to decide which to buy. I've had above average luck with ARE roses. I think there's a space in my garden for Peggy Martin and Stephen F Austin. I'm sorely tempted by Cadenza. My garden is already graced by four Caldwell Pink and one Red Cascade.

Any advice?

Where does it show the sale prices? For me, they all show the regular $18.95 price.

Why do they make the shipping rates so hard to find? I can't find them anywhere on the site. They used to be way too high -- 40% of the merchandise cost (regular price, even if the items were on sale) for shipping to the West Coast.

Steve, I have all of those roses and none of them are duds. I love Lafter and she grows huge here - as does Peggy Martin. Climbing Pinkie reblooms all summer here but the cane tips seem to die back (?) which is less than perfectly lovely. Also she is more of a heaping rose for me than a climber.

Wow! Ditto to everything porkpal said!

porkpal & Cindi, thanks for the summaries.

Sue & Zuzu, the e-mail is all html, so I cannot paste it here. The order system seems not reflect the reduced prices: neither does it let you select immediate shipment. Toll-free phone goes to an answering service. The toll-free number is 1-800-441-0002. I might try their Customer Service number 979-836-9051 Monday. I do wish it were easier to save $9 a rose.
