Very nice ones to start off with! Have you met in person before?

We met Josh and his wife exactly three years ago at the Hybridizers' Summit in Chattanooga, TN. We had seen some of Josh's amazing seedlings on mydaylilies.com prior to that, so we already "knew" who he was. Josh is a young and upcoming hybridizer. We bought his first collection that came this past spring. Their garden was on the 2011 National tour when it was in Baton Rouge, LA,

I think that it is exciting for newcomers to do well. The field is wide open and not just for a few big time hybridizers.

Maybe someone should invite them to ATPs lol.

I had the opportunity to meet Josh last month at Lilyhemmer, he was one of the speakers. His program was well put together and he is so very nice to talk to. Seeing his seedlings and hearing the excitment in his voice as he spoke about them, AHS could use more younger members like Josh. A few of his intro's including some of his 2013's were in the auction and I manged to be the high bidder for spring shipping of Peace Pipe. Looking forward to seeing it blooming next summer!

I have only talked to him on the phone and e-mail, good to hear nice things about him. I have all his intros and four seedlings for display durning the regional.

From looking at the catalog pictures at least, I'd say he's headed in the right direction. Stoke the Fire, Remedy and Godsend are really beautiful. Since I don't hybridize what I want is a good garden grower, and if they do that then I see a bright future for him....Maryl

I received my order from Josh this afternoon. Great healthy plants and an unexpected gift plant! I've not met Josh but talked with him online several times - he's got some great things happening in his hybridizing.

What was the gift, James?

I ordered JOSIE, and tet BARN OWL and he also sent HAPPY HEART MONITOR. All were super healthy with fantastic root systems.

Josie & HHM are very, very attractive. Barn Owl, this is a good name for that one actually.

I met Josh a couple years ago @ Lilyhemmer. He is a very nice fellow and he has some beautiful plants.

We bought his first collection. He is helping to sell Sandy Nall's intros through his website. Yesterday we received the two of Sandy's that we had ordered through Josh's website, so they must be grown at Josh's. Josh had emailed a few days ago asking if I was ready to receive them.

I met Josh when he gave a very entertaining presentation at our East Texas daylily club in April of 2013. He showed us photos of his great new intros, his seedlings, his garden - and his family. He also generously brought several plants for the club to auction off and use as door prizes. (Unfortunately, I got outbid on his plants.) Despite his rather recent appearance on the scene, he's obviously well on his way to creating many beautiful additions to the daylily universe. He's certainly a speaker worth seeing/hearing.
