Mine are Bill Warriner, Flutterbye, Pure Poetry, First Kiss, and President Herbert Hoover. I'll detail them in separate posts with photos.

This is Bill Warriner.

Bill Warriner, a floribunda, was a Zary-Warriner collaborative effort. Helpmefind lists the introduction year as 1997, but a few years ago I ran into my 1995 invoice from J&P for this rose, so be sure to always take all of that HMF information with a grain of salt.

It was planted in full sun, but my neighbors subsequently let an ugly scrub oak seedlling grow into a big ugly scrub oak tree, so now it's pretty much in full shade. In spite of that, it blooms constantly and abundantly.

Flutterbye is a Carruth shrub that grows almost as tall as some climbers, but it's much wider than a climber. I prune it heavily in December, back to about 3 feet tall, to keep it under 8 feet for the rest of the year.

It's the rose on the left in this photo.

Flutterbye has the added advantage of producing blooms of several colors. Here's a closeup of some of them.

Pure Poetry is a Zary floribunda that grows quite large. It's mostly in the shade of a persimmon tree in my garden.

First Kiss is a huge Warriner floribunda. It also has the best fragrance of any rose in my garden.

President Herbert Hoover is a 1930 Coddington hybrid tea, a Pernetiana, and it's also the oldest rose in my garden. It's grown in three of my gardens and it's the only rose I dig up and move with the rest of my stuff.

The 5 best performers for me are:

Old Blush
Camellia Rose
Perle d' Or
Perle des Jardin
Smiths Parish

I will hunt around for pictures...here is Old Blush not the best picture, I will look for more.
Old Blush is a China Rose...blooms off and on, all summer....more 'on' than 'off'

Camellia Rose is a china/noisette. From April-October it is rarely out of bloom.

Perle des Jardin it is a tea rose. This has gotten to be a huge plant (huge, to me) the flowers are lovely, and if all is right...they open, and are gorgeous and smell wonderful. But if there is too much moisture in the air, the blossoms 'ball' and become yucky, sodden messes.
Despite the fact that the blooms often are not...I adore this rose!
Color is varied.. Mine are mostly a lemon sorbet.

Smiths Parish is another tea rose...mine has gotten very large the flowers are usually white with a stripe of red or pink...and sometimes the flowers are a solid red or pink they don't seem to have much of a scent.

This is a great forum idea! There are roses that grow just about anywhere on the planet, but finding those that are happy in some areas can be quite the challenge, often entailing lots of trial and error. Kentucky is "blessed" with the hot, muggy summers of the south, often accompanied with cold winters, 2 of the big challenges in rose culture. Nonetheless there are lots of wonderful Roses out there that thrive happily under these conditions!

These 2 have been an absolute joy in my garden, Leontine Gervais climbing on the pole, and Ballerina. LG has a soft, sweet fragrance, that has become more noticeable as the plant has gotten larger and produced masses of blooms. Ballerina has no scent that I've detected.

'Erfurt' grows and blooms like a dream for me. Not much fragrance, but oh so reliable.

I think the last on my top 5 list would be 'The Fairy', she blooms nonstop and requires no effort. Runners up would include 'Seafoam', 'Carefree Beauty', 'Red Fairy', 'Oso Easy Strawberry Crush', and the 'Knockout' series.

Neal, so good to see you here. It's like old home week.

Angie, I rarely pay attention to fragrance. I have noticed the fragrance of First Kiss only because it wafts out at me from the bush as I walk by and it's delicious!

I really can't participate in this as I only have a few roses that have been in the ground for more than a year... but, the ones that survived for me are:
