I'm really sorry - I didn't mean to ignore you. I didn't find this (though it WAS right on the home page every time I opened ATP) until RIGHT NOW. Only a year and 3 months later..... I think I repel technology. That meadowsweet does really well considering how hot and dry that site gets. Though I do make an attempt to keep it watered (you can even see the hoses all over my walkway in the photo!).

We certainly had a crazy winter, but this particular rhodie didn't have any winter kill. Most of my heucheras did really well too.
