I love reading the messages on tombstones and I so appreciate the deceased sense of humor Thumbs up

I can't think of the name of it but have you been to the cemetery there in Cincinnati - it's HUGE, beautiful, and lots of local big names buried there. I do know they don't allow pets so... Thumbs down

That would be Spring Grove Cemetery.
They actually take wedding photos there, have guided tours, etc.

The Fleischmann's (of the yeast and margarine fame), Baldwin's (piano and organ), Bob Braun, David Frisch (Frisch's Big Boy Restaurants) are just a few of the'Famous People.
There are tons of baseball players, politicians and Civil War Officers.....

What timing Whistling We just went to a historic cemetery here in RI looking for a friends Great Great Grandfather. What we finally found it that
his gravestone is missing Sad It was there in 1998 But, not even a piece anymore. I was soo disappointed. There were alot of cool other headstones
some were from 1800's Unfortunatly no dogs Soo they wait in the truck ..I will go back and get some pictures One grave made me esp sad it was a
little baby only 1 mo old. I think I'm going to put some pansy's on that grave. As long as they are not XL it is allowed. Angel

I always thought Consort was wife but it seems it's Spouse....
So Wife or Husband.
Relict is 'Something left behind'... so Widow or Widower

Cool use of Old English in any case.
