Sometime ago I started a thread entitled 'Lets watch our iris grow' That thread has grown very long, many views, many pages, many replies and sometimes off topic. I'm starting another thread and hope that is OK with everyone. I hope we follow how our iris look now as bloom season approaches in many places and has started for some of us. Here are some of my TBs.
This is a TB seedling which bloomed early lasr year. It also had 2 frozen stalks when I cleaned up this spring. It had tried to rebloom but didn't make it.

For TBs in this climate, the later blooming ones are most successful.

OK with me if we re-start the thread. Just have one question: I'd like to know how you devined "this is a TB seedling which bloomed early next year"??? Is you a voo-doo guy?

I am loving the Iris threads. So much eye candy and my wish list continues to grow. Now I'll need to plant a money tree.

Its really difficult to choose a favorite as I love so many and sometimes it depends on the day and the bloom but Devoted is certainly one that is worthy of its spot in the garden. I may start one or two more clumps this summer. Oops...I just noticed the toe of my shoe in the lower right hand of the picture of Devoted.

Debra.....does Best Bet rebloom for you. I had heard that it was a rebloomer.

And it is not the first time I have had a shot of my toe but I usually try to catch it. Oh well.

Best Bet is a fairly reliable rebloomer, here ,Paul....Arlyn

Has not yet rebloomed for me, but I've only had it a couple of years.
