So much is blooming for me I just don't have time to take pictures of everything but I will try! LOL.

Very pretty! I haven't really been paying a lot of close attention to my gardens this year. I guess I'd better get out there and start snapping some pics! Or, I can stay inside, safe from the gnats and mosquitoes, and enjoy the beautiful pictures you all are posting!

Thank you! I just bought a new bottle of insect repellent yesterday but so far I haven't had too many problems and that surprises me because of all the rain. I mostly go out in the morning, so maybe I move too fast for them. I like to snap a few pictures before work.

I'm going to be the heretic here but there are a number of Hostas that, to me, the blooms are a detraction and I cut them off. Some are OK but bloom isn't why I grow them....We need a grumpy old man logo for me

I leave my blooms for the hummingbirds. Also, I seem to be getting really lazy!

You have such a beautiful display of foliage in your beds, I can see why you wouldn't want any distractions.

If you are growing the plants for the foliage it's not heretical to cut the blooms off if you don't like them.

However, I choose to leave mine. But if I don't think the seedlings might be interesting, I cut them after flowering before the seeds ripen.

I do not grow them for the flowers either, they are Insignificant, but I will enjoy them while they are there and hopefully the birds will get some enjoyment also.

I didn't think about the Hummers...I'll let them bloom.

My hosta garden is just a year or less old (depends on which part of the 30'x125' part of this space.
I really like the snow angel heuchera
The hostas are just beginning to bloom.
Then there is some foxgloves that came in on their own, and of course the columbine, but it is almost finished
there is also some Campanella in the columbine bed
And dead nettle in a few places I am still moving things around to get the look I want. Hopefully I won't weed out too many of the volunteer columbine and foxgloves for next years show.

One last crazy combo
lamb's ears with solid and variegated hosta and ferns. Too much of a hodge podge, but photographs nicely.

That is very nice, I did not think of adding it to the Hosta Garden.

Daylily used to shade a hosta bloom together.
