Nice shot of Papilio. Mine don't look like they will bloom this year. This is Bolero. Not the best shot. It was a nice hot pink. I noticed it is sending up another stem, so maybe I can get some better photos.

I only have a few amaryllis bulbs and all have bloomed but one. It's had two bloom stalks/skapes and neither would open.

The picture is Dancing Queen, I believe.

Well for hardness. I gown mine in the ground here in zone8B/9A and some lost their leaves in this last abnormal freeze we had but look like they are going to come back.

Thank you wren. They should be outdoor hardy here then. When weather warms I will plant all of the ones I have blooming in the house outside. Hope this works because I don't have very much room in the house.

JT, looks like you have a nice greenhouse there, great blooms, nice to brighten up the winter.

How hardy are all of these Hybrid Amaryllis? Other than Amaryllis Belladonna, I got my first hybrids this winter and am about to plant them out in the ground.

I'm in Zone 8, on the west coast. We had one low freezing week in December, coldest on record I believe. It got down to 12 degrees. If my Amaryllis would have been out in the ground then, would they have survivied that temp?

So far, I've kept them protected in pots indoors. Spring is here soon, and I've got to get up the nerve to send some things outdoors Crying
